
These photos were taken by my friend John and myself. We took a trip in September 2005
to Guanajauto, Dolores Hildago, Mineral Los Topos, and some points in between.
At the bottom are some photos from the Day of the Dead celebrations in SMA.

Me by the front door of the Atotonilca church, one of the oldest churches in Mexico, built in 1740.
A little history; In 1802 Ignacio Allende was married here. In 1810 he returned along with Miguel Hildago and a
band of rebels enroute from Dolores to San Miguel, to get the banner of the Virgin of Guadalupe from this
church to use as their flag. (This was at the Beginning of the Mexican Revolution).
